Job summary

Dal-Tile, a leader in tile and natural stone in the United States, is seeking a Showroom Design Consultant to advise on interior design, product selection, and project development. The role leverages showrooms to drive sales, with emphasis on customer experience and brand awareness.

Candidate will log showroom activity, follow up with clients, and support outside builders and designers. Evening and weekend hours are required to meet client needs and events.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or four years of related experience.
• Competencies: Sales/Customer engagement/Customer service, Design/sketching/reading blueprints/color coordination/interior design trends/customer buying habits/creative thinking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to articulate design concepts to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provides interior design advice and product expertise, and facilitates tile/stone selection and project development.
• Logs client showroom visits, contacts, and preferences in the system; communicates with team to ensure follow-up and sales closure.
• Prospects for new business with a focus onCustom Builders and Residential Designers; makes outside sales calls as needed.
