Job summary

AtWork Group is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner / Work Order Coordinator in Stockton, CA. You will create, release, and track work orders from initiation to completion using an MRP/ERP system, coordinating with multiple departments to maintain production schedules.

The role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing MRP/ERP experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office. This is a full-time, on-site position with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and temp-to-hire

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of experience using an MRP/ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience as a Production Planner, Materials Planner, or Work Order Coordinator preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain concepts, and materials flow.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, release, monitor, and update work orders per production schedules and MRP requirements.
• Track work orders from material kitting through final completion and closure.
• Expedite work orders to meet deadlines across manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with shared work centers to support production schedules.
• Identify and coordinate material shortages and availability issues with program teams.
