Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and update work orders according to MPS/MRP production requirements.
• Track work orders from material preparation and kitting through completion.
• Monitor and expedite work orders to help meet production deadlines.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to maintain production schedules and workflow.
• Identify material shortages and coordinate replacements with the appropriate departments.
• Communicate work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production delays.
• Generate shipping documents using MRP systems.
• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
• Work with production, inventory, and supply chain teams to resolve scheduling issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and update work orders according to MPS/MRP production requirements.
• Track work orders from material preparation and kitting through completion.
• Monitor and expedite work orders to help meet production deadlines.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to maintain production schedules and workflow.
• Identify material shortages and coordinate replacements with the appropriate departments.
• Communicate work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production delays.
• Generate shipping documents using MRP systems.
• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) inventory levels and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience using MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment required.
• Previous experience as a Production Planner, Materials Planner, or in a similar manufacturing planning role preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and material flow.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
