Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a stock crew supervisor to assist with scheduling, supervision, and smooth department operations. You will oversee displays, support Team Leaders, and ensure friendly, efficient service in line with SOPs and health and safety rules.

Responsibilities include training, evaluating performance, inventory tasks, and maintaining high morale. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer focus, and adherence to WFM values in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Ability to supervise and train teammates.
• Strong knowledge of safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Effectively supervises and delegates tasks based on department needs.
• Works with leadership to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Responds to customer and Team Member needs and concerns.
• Assists in sorting and stocking processes for at least 75% of the scheduled shift.
• Assists in training as delegated by Team Leader and Associate Team Leader using checklists.
• Establishes and maintains a positive work environment that supports high morale.
• Completes inventory management processes, spoilage, sampling, and temperature worksheets.
• Tracks productivity of the stocking crew using the case count tracker.
• Opens and closes department according to procedures.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members accordingly.
• Mentors and counsels Team Members to sustain high performance.
• Provides timely performance evaluations and communicates the vision.
