Job summary

Estancia La Jolla is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to assist the Stewarding Manager in directing stewarding operations across all outlets. The role requires overseeing sanitation and cleanliness, assigning daily cleaning tasks, and ensuring health code compliance.

It also involves training staff, implementing SOPs, and managing shift schedules based on forecasts. The ideal candidate will have lead or supervisory experience, basic cooking knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• One or more years of related experience.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience desirable.
• Ability to mentor and train staff to meet guest expectations.
• Knowledge and practical experience with basic cooking skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move moderate weight.
• Availability for AM/PM/overnight, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist the Stewarding Manager in directing stewarding operations across outlets and service areas.
• Assign and monitor daily cleaning checklists and ensure sanitation standards.
• Monitor and manage supply orders and equipment organization.
• Maintain health code standards per local, state, and federal rules.
• Participate in interviewing and training of stewards; enforce SOPs.
• Prepare schedules based on forecast and allocate staff as needed.
