Job summary

Spa Ojai seeks a Stewarding Supervisor to support the Stewarding management team in delivering high quality service within the Food & Beverage division. This role ensures cleanliness and adherence to state and federal health codes, with a keen eye for detail and ability to follow written and verbal directions.

You will lead the stewarding staff, supervise dishwashing operations, and coordinate the logistics of china, glassware, and silverware.

Qualifications

• Requires CA Driver's License.
• Requires CA Food Handlers Card.
• Experience working without direct supervision.
• Basic understanding of chemical usage.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Stewards to maintain the highest sanitation standards across kitchens and outlets.
• Supervise dish collection and sorting of china, glassware, and silverware.
• Supply clean utensils and equipment; transport items between outlets as needed.
• Ensure dishwashing equipment is well maintained and operates per standards.
• Coordinate repairs with service reps and follow up on completion.
• Manage cleaning schedules and prepare for Health Department inspections.
• Oversee packing/transport of dining ware for events and inventory checks.
• Facilitate daily shift stand-up meetings to share property information.
