Estancia La Jolla, a Noble House Hotel, in San Diego, seeks a reliable Steward to support our kitchen and Team Member Cafeteria by washing dishes, sanitizing utensils, and maintaining clean cooking areas. You will stock supplies, dispose of waste properly, and follow safety and health department guidelines.

The ideal candidate values teamwork, can stand for long periods, and is comfortable lifting moderate weights.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel stewarding preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift/move moderate weights.
• Experience in hotel/resort environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans according to hotel standards.
• Maintains clean kitchen and cafeteria areas and equipment.
• Stocks supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Disposes of kitchen substances safely and adheres to recycling regulations.
• Follows all food handling, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
