Job summary

Proof of the Pudding, a chef-led hospitality company serving major venues, seeks a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee stewarding operations across events. You will lead the stewarding team, monitor deliveries, assist with setup and breakdown of equipment, and maintain cleanliness in kitchens and service areas.

This is a full-time hourly role requiring flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays; candidates should be within 25 miles of Starkville, Mississippi.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of culinary steward/supervision experience required.
• Ability to follow directions in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Must be a strong team player with high energy and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead the stewarding team, delegating daily tasks to meet event timelines.
• Assist and monitor deliveries of all food to functions and manage setup/breakdown.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchens, service areas, hallways and parking areas; operate main dish machine; handle light food prep as directed.
