Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee all stewarding functions at MSU venue. You will be responsible for cleaning china, glassware, silver and serving equipment, and coordinating plate-up and delivery for events.

The role includes kitchen and back-hallway cleanup, plus basic janitorial duties across the venue. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in culinary steward/prep/FOH supervision, lives within 25 miles of Starkville, MS, and works well in a team-driven

Qualifications

• 2+ years of culinary steward/prep/food & beverage supervision background is necessary.
• Must live within 25 miles of Starkville, Mississippi.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the stewarding team by delegating daily tasks, and adhering to event timelines.
• Assist and monitor deliveries of all food to prospective functions.
• Oversee and assist in delivery, set-up, and breakdown of all equipment to prospective functions.
• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchens, service areas, hallways, trash bins, and parking lot.
• Position is very hands and will interaction often with staff.
• Running and maintenance of the main dish machine.
