Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a seasoned Stewarding Manager to lead the stewarding department, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment that supports culinary and F&B operations across the property.

You will recruit, train, and coach a team, manage scheduling and staffing based on business volume, maintain sanitation logs, and partner with Culinary and F&B leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in stewarding, sanitation, culinary operations, or food and beverage.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and cleaning procedures and food safety.
• Experience managing teams in a high-volume hospitality environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory or scheduling systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stewarding operations across resort's restaurants, kitchens, banquet areas, and outlets.
• Ensure sanitation operations meet standards and comply with health & safety requirements.
• Manage equipment, inventory, and maintain par levels.
• Lead and develop stewarding team; assign daily tasks; provide coaching.
• Collaborate with Culinary and F&B leadership to align staffing and operations.
