Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group’s Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a well-rounded Club Stewarding Supervisor to join the opening team. You will support the culinary department and lead stewarding operations in a high-volume environment.

Reporting to the Executive Steward & Stewarding Manager, you will manage inventory, training, safety, and ensure cleanliness while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ stewarding experience, with 1 year in a stewarding leadership role
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
• High School Diploma or equivalent education preferred

Responsibilities

• Ordering supplies appropriately to ensure proper par levels are maintained
• Assisting with inventory and storage of food and beverage equipment
• Ensuring all ware washing equipment and equipment in the kitchen is clean and in proper working condition, reviewing daily cleanliness practices with stewarding team and keeping up with daily cleaning schedule
• Assisting in spearheading and managing the kitchen recycling program; assisting the Executive Steward and Executive Chef upon request with special projects and initiatives
• Maintaining cleanliness of all back of the house areas including kitchens and walk- ins
• Delivering food for banquet events and breakdown stations for the conclusion of the event
• Manage and monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained to company standards.
• Provide training and development to staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and equipment usage
