Job summary

Sotera Health Company in the United States is seeking an Operator to coordinate daily conveyor activities, load/unload sterilized product, and support safe operations under the Shift Supervisor and Operations Manager. This role emphasizes accurate data entry, dosimeter handling, and adherence to safety procedures across the irradiation process.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, English fluency, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work fixed shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Fluent English (read, write and speak).
• Ability to perform basic math and measurement using a tape measure.
• Able to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Willingness to work established shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending/lifting.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Computer skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Load and unload product into totes sterilized through irradiation machine.
• Prepare dosimeters for work orders.
• Operate and read the dosimeter reader.
• Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets.
• Perform emergency procedures as required by governing agencies.
• Report system problems to Shift Supervisor or Maintenance.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
