Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operator at our facility to monitor sterilization systems, observe pressure, temperature and humidity, and move product through the line. You will document readings, adjust controls, and report issues to supervision to keep operations safe and efficient.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 6–12 months in a sterilization environment, fluent English, ability to lift 50 lbs, willingness to work shifts, forklift experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months in a sterilization environment preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sterilization system, observing pressure, temperature and humidity.
• Turn valves and adjust controls to ensure safe operation.
• Observe sterilizers and assist with repairs as needed.
• Document process readings and report damaged product or system problems.
• Perform daily/weekly maintenance tasks and assist with safety compliance.
• Supervise and assist Process Assistant Operators as needed.
