Job summary

Sotera Health Company is hiring an Operator in Charlotte to coordinate conveyor activities and prepare dosimeters for sterilization processes. You will load/unload product, run dosimeter readings, and maintain accurate records under supervision.

The role requires basic math, reading measurements, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This position emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Fluent English reading/writing and basic math.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Willing to work established shifts and lift up to 50 lb.
• Forklift experience preferred; computer skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product into totes that go to sterilization.
• Prepare dosimeters for scheduled work orders.
• Operate and read the dosimeter reader; record data.
• Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheets and load/unload sheets.
• Follow emergency procedures and report system problems to supervisor/maintenance.
• Replace designated mechanical components and assist maintenance as needed.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
