Job summary

Sotera Health, operating through Sterigenics in West Memphis, AR, seeks an Operator to coordinate all activities on the conveyor, organize work orders at load/unload stations and assist the Shift Supervisor to ensure safe operation of the system.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, fluent English, basic math, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work assigned shifts. Forklift experience is preferred, computer skills are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads product into totes that are sterilized through an irradiation machine.
• Prepares dosimeters for work orders scheduled to be run.
• Operates and reads the dosimeter reader; assembles run data with documentation.
• Reports system problems to Shift Supervisor or Maintenance.
• Assists with replacing designated mechanical components and other tasks as assigned.
