Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking an Operator to coordinate conveyor activities, load and unload product for irradiation, and prepare dosimeters for work orders. You will record data in the computer and assist the Shift Supervisor in safe operation of the system.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, fluent English, basic math and tape measure skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift experience is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to read and use a tape measure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete training and qualifications to achieve operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities on the conveyor by organizing work orders at load/unload stations.
• Load and unload product into totes tied to an irradiation process.
• Prepare dosimeters for scheduled work orders and operate the dosimeter reader.
• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned and report system problems.
