Job summary

Sotera Health Company is seeking an on-site Operator in West Memphis, AR to coordinate workflow at the conveyor, load and unload product for irradiation, and document dosimeter data. The role requires reading measurements, basic math, and computer entry, with forklift experience preferred.

You will work under the direction of the Operations Manager and Shift Supervisor, performing duties safely and accurately, and supporting maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Ability to read measurements using a tape measure accurately.
• Willingness to work established shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Computer skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Record input, dosimeter and unload information in the computer.
• Load and unload product into totes for irradiation.
• Prepare dosimeters for work orders and operate the dosimeter reader.
• Maintain run data sheets and load/unload sheets.
• Report system problems to the Shift Supervisor or Maintenance.
• Assist maintenance with replacing designated mechanical components as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
