Job summary

Advocate Health in Lexington is looking for an experienced Sterile Processing professional to lead the SPD team during the 3pm-11pm shift. The role combines hands-on processing oversight with supervisory responsibilities to maintain daily production and instrument readiness.

The ideal candidate holds CSPDT certification and has two years of Sterile Processing experience, with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with two years in Sterile Processing experience.
• CSPDT certification required; Sterile Processing Management certification encouraged within three years of hire.
• Experience in sterile processing and ability to lead SPD staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the sterile processing cycle and guide SPD employees.
• Lead SPD staff and assist Sterile Processing Supervisor to meet production goals.
• Coordinate case carts and communicate with OR Clinical Coordinators.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and maintain compliance logs.
• Assist with department policy implementation and special projects.
