Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with two years' Sterile Processing experience.
• Certification as CSPDT or other sterile processing certification required.
• Sterile processing management certification encouraged within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and educate SPD staff across the sterile processing cycle.
• Occasionally assume Sterile Processing Supervisor duties.
• Assist with maintaining production by directing SPD employees.
• Coordinate case carts and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Communicate instrument needs with SPD personnel and OR coordinators.
• Ensure equipment operates properly and document maintenance.
