Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Six years of Sterile Processing experience in acute care.
• Sterile Processing certification: CSCST or CSPDT and Instrument Specialist certification: CIS or CSIS.
• Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate Sterile Processing activities and service line.
• Manage monthly schedule and daily shift assignments.
• Assist in development of department budget and monitor supply needs.
• Maintain workflow between OR and Sterile Processing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, reprocessing, and sterilization of instrumentation.
