Job summary

The role coordinates decontamination, inspection, and sterilization of instrumentation and prepares case carts for the unit, maintaining strong collaboration with the OR and ensuring regulatory compliance across the department.

Qualifications

• Six years of Sterile Processing experience in an acute care hospital.
• Certified in Sterile Processing: CSCST or CSPDT and CIS or CSIS.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in infection control, decontamination, and sterilization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate activities of Sterile Processing to ensure workflow.
• Maintain daily shift assignments and monthly schedule.
• Coordinate with OR to ensure timely sterile products and case carts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
