Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead daily operations across assigned areas and shifts. You will oversee staffing, workflow, and ensure safe, compliant sterile processing outcomes for patient care.

You will collaborate with Operating Room staff, procedural areas, and clinics to maintain readiness and high-quality service, while guiding staff through coaching and performance management.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CRCST certification required; CIS and CER preferred.
• 2–3 years of Central Sterile Technician experience required.
• Strong patient and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily sterile processing operations and staffing across shifts.
• Support quality, safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate workflow between Sterile Processing, OR, and clinics.
• Monitor team productivity and daily operations.
• Oversee inventory management and instrument maintenance.
• Direct staff with performance coaching and staffing decisions.
• Participate in audits, quality initiatives, and process improvements.
• Assist with timekeeping, reporting, and admin tasks.
