Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Manager, Sterile Processing to lead the 24/7 operations of the Sterile Processing Department. You will supervise staff, develop policies, ensure quality, and coordinate with CPD/OR teams to optimize instrumentation and supply handling.

The role requires 7 years as a sterile processing technician plus 3 years of supervisory experience, with two years of relevant education or an associate degree; CBSPD or HSPA certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of occupationally specific education or associate’s degree; Surgical Technology or Central Processing area.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Seven years’ experience as a sterile processing technician and three years in supervisory roles.

Aufgaben

• Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of internal policies and procedures for processing, storage, and handling of medical supplies and equipment.
• Develop and implement decontamination and sterilization methods as needed.
• Establish department goals and objectives and organize structure to support functions.
• Monitor inventory, establish par levels, and initiate purchases as needed.
