Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a seasoned Sterile Processing Lead Technician for the Sterile Processing Department at The General Hospital. You will serve as the technical and operational resource, coordinate workflow, and provide guidance to staff to ensure efficient processing and instrument readiness.

This role supports operating rooms, quality assurance initiatives, and ongoing training. A CRCST/CIS/CER certification and 3–5 years of central sterile experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Licenses: CRCST, CIS, or CER certification required.
• Experience: 3–5 years as Central Sterile Technician required.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the department's technical resource and SME for sterile processing practices and equipment.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, workflow coordination, and technical support to staff.
• Coordinate instrument, equipment, and service needs with ORs and other departments.
• Support staff training, onboarding, and competency development.
• Assist with quality assurance activities and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and workflow issues.
