Boston Children’s Hospital seeks a Manager, Sterile Processing to lead the 24/7 Sterile Processing Department, ensuring policy conformance, efficiency, and patient-safety with cutting-edge best practices.

The role requires 7 years of surgical processing experience, 3 years of supervision, and current HSPA or CBSPD certification, along with strong leadership and cross-department collaboration skills.

Formación

• Two years of occupationally specific education or associate’s degree required.
• 7 years’ experience as a sterile processing technician and 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Current certification from HSPA or CBSPD is required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee 24/7 Sterile Processing operations and staffing.
• Develops and enforces policies for processing, storage, and handling of supplies and equipment.
• Monitor inventory, establish par levels, and initiate purchases as needed.
• Lead committees and project teams; recruit and develop staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital, department, and external standards.
