Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Home Infusion Compounding Technician to assist with sterile preparation under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will follow USP 797, SOPs, and boards of pharmacy requirements while maintaining inventory and documenting environmental conditions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and timely patient support, including follow-up calls and proper labeling and storage of medications and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy technician training is preferred.
• Experience in compounding or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Must meet State Board of Pharmacy requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding per USP 797.
• Follow SOPs, USP 797, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces and environment per USP 797.
• Maintain sterile compounding competencies.
• Label containers accurately and maintain drug storage standards.
• Monitor environmental conditions daily and report deviations.
• Maintain On Track Task Logs daily.
• Manage timely refills to prevent interruptions.
• Upload delivery tickets into Care Tend and confirm when signed.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and document thoroughly.
• Order medications to keep inventory stocked.
• Enter supplies into the Vital Systems inventory.
• Store drugs safely and keep workspace organized.
• Inspect shelves to prevent shortages.
• Conduct monthly inventory of supplies.
• Report misconduct to HR as required.
• Build positive relationships with clients through attentive service.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, supervisors, and patients.
• Assist with quality control and performance improvement.
