The role requires adherence to USP 797 and Board of Pharmacy regulations, maintaining environmental controls, inventory, and accurate documentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to ensure uninterrupted patient treatments and quality care.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Pharmacist-in-Charge oversight. Pharmacy tech training preferred.
• Experience in compounding or healthcare setting preferred.
• Registered with State Board of Pharmacy if applicable in service areas.

Responsabilidades

• Perform sterile compounding per USP 797.
• Follow SOPs, USP 797, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces and equipment per USP 797.
• Maintain sterile compounding competencies.
• Label drugs and ensure proper containers.
• Monitor environmental conditions and report out-of-range readings.
• Maintain daily On Track Task Logs and ensure timely refills.
• Upload delivery tickets and confirm with signed Admission Agreement.
• Conduct patient follow-up assessments and document findings.
• Order medications to keep inventory well-stocked and in stock.
• Enter supplies into Vital Systems inventory.
• Store drugs/supplies safely and keep workspace organized.
• Inspect shelves for reorders to prevent shortages.
• Conduct monthly inventory of ambulatory infusion supplies.
• Report misconduct to Human Resources.
• Build positive relationships with clients and provide proactive support.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, supervisors, and patients.
• Assist with quality control and performance improvement as directed by PIC.
• Report product incidents as required by policy.
• Work as part of a team to complete tasks.
