Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Home Infusion Compounding Technician to assist with sterile preparations and patient supplies under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities include sterile compounding per USP 797, adherence to SOPs and regulations, environmental monitoring, inventory management, and detailed documentation, with growth opportunities in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of pharmacy technician training is preferred.
• Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy if applicable in service area(s).
• Experience in compounding or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding per USP 797.
• Follow all SOPs, USP 797, and Board of Pharmacy regulations and requirements.
• Clean all work surfaces, equipment, floors, ceilings, and walls according to USP 797 and SOPs.
• Maintain sterile compounding competencies.
• Ensure drugs are prepared in appropriate containers and adequately labeled.
• Monitor and document environmental conditions daily; notify PIC if readings are out of range.
• Accurately maintain On Track Task Logs daily.
• Manage timely refills to prevent treatment interruptions.
• Upload delivery tickets into Care Tend and confirm with signed Admission Agreement.
• Conduct patient follow-up assessment calls and document thoroughly.
• Order medications to keep inventory well-stocked and meet patient needs.
• Enter supplies into Vital Systems inventory.
• Properly store drugs and supplies to maintain safety and organization.
• Inspect shelves regularly to prevent shortages.
• Conduct a monthly inventory of ambulatory infusion suite supplies.
• Report misconduct or unethical activities to Human Resources.
• Build positive relationships with clients via attentive, friendly support.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, patients, and referral sources.
• Assist with quality control and performance improvement as directed by the PIC.
• Report product incidents as required by company policy.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks and complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Pharmacy technician training

State Board of Pharmacy registration (if applicable)
