Job summary

The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati seeks a Progressive Care/Med Surg RN to deliver high-quality nursing care on a step-down unit. You will act as the liaison between Med-Surg and ICU, assess patient status, and drive care plans to improve outcomes in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Requirements include 1 year of RN experience, BSN preferred, and active RN licensure with BLS/ACLS. This role may involve float to other departments and requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Current state RN licensure required.
• BLS or ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status using clinical skills and judgment.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and coordinate care across departments.
• Administer medications safely and document care per policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
