Job summary

Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar family, offers a Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals (STEP) Associate program across multiple locations. The program provides hands-on exposure to operations, sales, procurement, logistics, and e-Commerce, designed to develop future leaders for Summit and its Operating Companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Engage in warehouse operations, distribution processes, and logistics functions.
• Build relationships with key vendors in assigned markets to understand and promote vendor products.
• Maintain open communication with customers and Company technical support teams to identify issues and support sales goals.
• Train customers and associates on Company products, features, benefits, and applications.
• Analyze sales data and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and evaluate competitive strengths and weaknesses.
• Manage projects by understanding organizational and customer needs and presenting recommendations.
