Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, invites high-potential graduates to join the STEP Associate program across its Texas locations. Participants rotate through operations, sales, procurement, logistics, and e-commerce, gaining broad exposure and leadership development within a dynamic team environment.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning, on-the-job training, and residency experiences to prepare graduates for future leadership roles within Summit and Sonepar USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Previous internship, co-op, leadership, or related experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage in warehouse operations and logistics to learn the business.
• Build vendor relationships in assigned markets to support marketing and sales.
• Maintain communication with customers and technical support teams to address issues and identify market trends.
• Train customers and associates on products, features, benefits, and applications to deliver service excellence.
• Analyze sales data and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage projects by understanding needs, collaborating with partners, and presenting recommendations.
• Research strategic initiatives and prepare presentations for local and executive audiences.
• Participate in training and company activities while representing the local Operating Company.
