Workforce Recruiter is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for the steel processing and distribution sector in the Lordstown, Ohio area. This role requires deep industry insight, a proven track record of revenue growth, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing.

Qualifications

• Proven success in new business development with opening accounts and profitable sales growth.
• Experience in the steel industry or related manufacturing environment.
• Established network of industry relationships and ability to engage key decision-makers.
• Knowledge of flat-rolled steel products, processing capabilities, pricing, and market dynamics.
• Experience selling to OEMs, fabricators, manufacturers, and other industrial customers.
• Hunter mentality with initiative, persistence, and competitive drive.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen balancing revenue growth with profitability.
• Self-directed, entrepreneurial approach to managing opportunities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel.
