Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. in Pueblo, CO, seeks a Melting Supervisor to lead the Electric Furnace and Casting teams in producing various rounds from the Demag Caster.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and production in line with the Rocky Mountain Steel Mills Business Plan and core values. You will direct and mentor personnel, ensure adherence to policies, report operational progress daily, and participate in safety, quality and cost-improvement initiatives to drive business results.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in steelmaking or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in steelmaking; metallurgy preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Oracle; capable of reporting and analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and motivate Electric Furnace and Casting teams in production.
• Ensure safety, environmental cleanliness, quality, and production goals.
• Provide daily progress reports to management and support cost improvements.
• Train and develop a competent, cross-trained workforce; promote 6S initiatives.
