Job summary

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation in Columbia, PA, is seeking a Melt Superintendent to manage all aspects of the Foundry Melt Department in a high-volume production setting. You will lead a team of Melt Supervisors and work with plant leadership to meet safety, quality and production goals.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, experience with electric melting processes and refractories, knowledge of ISO-9001:2015, and a proven track record in unionized or high-volume foundry environments,

Qualifications

High School Diploma required. BS in Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
5+ years as a Melt Supervisor or Superintendent required, preferably in a unionized facility.
Melt Operations experience in a high-volume foundry.
Experience working in an ISO-9001:2015 environment.
Must have strong work ethic, outgoing and assertive personality and excellent team-building skills.

Responsibilities

Direct a team Melt Supervisors to meet quality, safety and production goals.
Lead quality and safety audits to maintain ISO-9001:2015 procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to maximize reporting and data-driven improvements.
Coordinate EHS compliance for the melt department.
Coordinate Engineering, Production Control and Maintenance to maximize productivity and assets.
