Job summary

Hussey Copper in Leetsdale, PA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily Melting & Casting operations and drive safety, quality, and productivity. You will supervise production personnel and collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to meet customer delivery goals.

The role focuses on coaching hourly employees, improving equipment utilization, and delivering world-class manufacturing performance in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or production supervision experience.
• Experience in melting, casting, foundry, copper, aluminum, steel, metals manufacturing, forging, extrusion, rolling, or heavy industrial manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, and Safety Leadership.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

• Lead and supervise daily Melting & Casting manufacturing operations.

• Coach, mentor, and develop hourly production employees.
• Drive employee accountability, engagement, and performance.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure customer delivery commitments are met.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and equipment utilization.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to resolve production challenges.
