Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. in Pueblo, CO seeks a Safety Supervisor to implement and improve safety programs at the mill. You will ensure regulatory compliance, promote a safety culture, and work with frontline staff and management to reduce risks.

Responsibilities include safety training, audits, incident investigations, and collaboration with operations to address hazards. Strong communication and Lean/ISO familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in safety/industrial hygiene or equivalent experience.
• Professional safety certifications a plus (OSHA 10/30, CSP, CHST).
• Experience in heavy industrial or steel manufacturing environments.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and enforce safety policies and programs across the mill.
• Develop and present OSHA safety training and aid in new-hire training.
• Track and communicate mill safety statistics.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate in Safety Sub-committee and collaborate with operations.
