Job summary

Horizon Air is seeking a Manager Station Operations to lead the customer service and ground service teams at the assigned station. You will drive operational performance, recruit staff, maintain staffing plans, and ensure safety and compliance across all functions including ground, customer, ramp, ticketing, and baggage handling.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of customer service or station operations experience.
  • 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (e.g., verbal, written, presentation) skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to understand root causes and resolve issues.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized, capable of multi-project execution in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Minimum age of 18 and must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead station team with established operational objectives and priorities.
  • Execute strategy to keep the station properly staffed and compliant including budgeting and staffing plans, recruitment, scheduling, training, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, airport authorities, and company policies; oversee performance across ground, customer, ramp, ticketing, cargo, safety and timelines.
  • Provide input on station training, aircraft gating, facilities, and equipment needs while meeting financial objectives.
  • Shape team culture, engage employees, and ensure fair processes for concerns.
  • Develop staff through performance management and ongoing feedback.
  • Promote Horizon Air’s Shared Values and collaborate with internal/external groups to drive improvements.
  • Represent Horizon Air in airport and community events with professionalism.
