Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) is seeking a Station Manager to oversee daily retail operations, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of safety and customer service at our California stations. You will recruit, train, coach, and evaluate employees while controlling costs and maintaining compliance with CSI policies.

The role requires strong English communication, previous retail or fuel leadership experience, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions.
• Prior managerial experience in retail, food service or fuel environment.
• Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight, and holidays.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with good judgement.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail facility and manage employee matters.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, manage performance and administer discipline.
• Ensure station compliance with safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies.
• Ensure payroll and labor hours are accurate and submitted on time.
• Manage expenses and monitor station operating costs.
