Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) is seeking a proactive Store Operations professional to assist the Station Manager in daily retail duties, oversee station operations and staff in the Manager’s absence, and provide direction and coaching to team members during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Station Manager in day-to-day operations of the retail facility.
• Maintain oversight of station operations and staff in the Station Manager’s absence.
• Provide work direction, motivation and coaching to staff during shifts to ensure tasks are completed according to CSI guidelines.
• Support safety, security, quality guidelines and CSI policies, and respond to incidents as needed.
• Ensure wage & hour compliance across station staff.
• Support CSI’s cash/money handling and accountability processes.
• Promote safety and loss prevention practices and model safe behaviors.
• Maintain courteous, professional contact with customers, staff, vendors and the community.
• Ensure reliable and predictable attendance.
• Perform all duties of Customer Service Representative as needed.
• Store Operations: provide direction to staff during shifts to cover operations; assist with inventory management; coordinate with other stations; conduct mini-audits; manage cash handling and transactions; operate and maintain food service equipment; inform management of issues; ensure safety standards; use store software for daily tasks; report to Station Manager in absence.
