Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. (CSI) seeks an experienced Retail Station Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, safety and customer service at our Monterey location.

You’ll recruit, hire, train, coach, and manage performance, while ensuring compliance with wage and hourly laws and CSI policies. You will lead merchandising, stock management, payroll submission, and expense control, coordinate with support groups, and maintain strong team and community relations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a variety of hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work in management positions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail facility as it relates to effectively running the business and managing employee matters.
• Recruit, hire, training, coaching, managing performance and administering appropriate discipline.
• Ensure station compliance with wage & hourly requirements, CSI policies and safety guidelines.
• Lead payroll submissions and monitor operating expenses; coordinate with support groups as needed.
