FloridaCommerce seeks a Government Operations Consultant II to provide policy guidance and technical training for the Welfare Transition and SNAP E&T programs statewide. You will lead, research, write guidance, and train LWDB staff to improve program outcomes.

The role requires a security background check and travel, with Tallahassee-based work and state-wide responsibilities. FloridaCommerce values collaboration, accuracy, and timely support for partners.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data collection and analysis methods.
• Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
• Ability to organize data into logical formats for reports and documents.
• Ability to apply problem-solving techniques.

Responsabilités

• Provides direction, guidance and technical assistance for workforce programs, including training development and delivery.
• Researches federal/state statutes to develop and update program policies, evaluates impact, and recommends actions.
• Guides agency management and staff in program operations and training implementation.
• Investigates and analyzes issues to develop solutions for operational problems.
• Participates in quality assurance reviews and data validation during site reviews.
