Job summary

FloridaCommerce seeks an experienced Government Operations Consultant II to support the Reemployment Assistance program. You will coordinate statewide RA training, develop guides, analyze issues, and provide liaison and consulting across the RA network.

The role requires strong data skills, policy knowledge, and the ability to train others in a fast‑paced environment. Based in Tallahassee, the position offers an internal agency opportunity with relocation not available and a pathway to impact

Qualifications

• Knowledge of reemployment assistance law, rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop recommendations and improve operations.
• Ability to organize data for reports and written materials.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to train others and conduct fact-finding research.
• Ability to plan and coordinate work assignments.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate statewide RA training and develop training guides and materials.
• Analyze and resolve statewide RA training issues and concerns; advise RA management.
• Serve as functional lead coordinating analysis, design, and development with vendor teams.
• Troubleshoot complex RA program issues across claims, tax, and appeals processes.
• Provide policy guidance and recommendations to standardize RA procedures.
