Job summary

FloridaCommerce's Division of Workforce Services seeks a Government Operations Consultant II to provide policy guidance, training, and technical assistance for Welfare Transition and SNAP Employment Training programs across Florida.

The role conducts research, writes policy and procedural guidance, delivers in-person and virtual training, and supports Local Workforce Development Boards with strong organizational skills and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least two years researching federal and state statutes, regulations and governing authorities for state or federal-funded programs.
• At least two years of experience providing training and technical assistance for state or federal-funded programs.
• At least two years of experience working with workforce programs.
• Professional writing experience.
• Travel required; Level 2 security background screening required.
