Job summary

The State of Louisiana's Office of Technology Services seeks an Orders Management Technician within the Network Communications Services Section in Baton Rouge. Qualifications

• Minimum IT qualifications include degrees or equivalent IT experience.
• Experience with IT service provisioning and data/documentation is preferred.
• Knowledge of state purchasing regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process highly complex service requests for communication solutions using internal systems.
• Perform quality checks on order documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist customers with service requests and options.
• Maintain records of service orders, inventory, and provisioning activities.
• Update inventory systems with service changes and retirements.
• Prepare quotes and pricing estimates for new or modified services.
• Follow workflows to ensure timely quote processing.

Education

Four years of experience in information technology

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of information technology

Associate's degree in information technology plus two years of information technology

Bachelor’s degree plus two years of information technology

Bachelor’s degree with twenty-four semester hours in information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics + one year of information technology

Master’s degree plus one year of information technology
