Job summary

The State of Wyoming, Community College Commission, seeks a Director of Information Technology to architect data and analytics strategy, connecting campus IT, researchers, DBAs, and software vendors.

This role requires deep SQL, data warehouse, ETL, BI dashboards, and governance while balancing procurement, ROI, and privacy. Strong collaboration with eight colleges and automated validation are key to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related field.
• 2–4 years of progressive work experience in Computer Technology at Program Manager I level.
• OR 5–7 years of progressive work experience at Program Manager I level with related knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and direction for agency IT infrastructure.
• Oversee statewide data warehouse operations and multi-system data flows.
• Apply knowledge of SQL Server, relational design, schema optimization, and ETL routines.
