Job summary

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) seeks a skilled professional to oversee statewide non-movable asset data within MMS, leveraging AgileAssets and LaGov ERP knowledge to support data integrity and reporting.

The role involves supervising district asset specialists, coordinating with multiple units, and developing data tools and training; emergency/disaster support may be required.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in development, implementation, or administration of a transportation or safety program; or in engineering, architecture, geography, HR, finance, IT, risk management, policy planning, or admin services.
• Six years of full-time work in any field plus four years in transportation or safety program development, implementation, or administration.
• A bachelor's degree plus four years in transportation or safety program development, implementation, or administration.
• An advanced degree plus three years in transportation or safety program development, implementation, or administration.
• EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience toward the six years requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage statewide asset data maintenance, supervise 9 district asset specialists, ensure data QA/QC.
• Lead development and implementation of new asset types in MMS, including data requirements, configuration, reporting, and security.
• Coordinate with HQ, districts, Agile Assets, GIS, and stakeholders to align data with operations, budgeting, LOS, and management needs.
• Develop and maintain data-collection tools, procedures, and training for consistent statewide asset inventory and auditing.
• Support development and maintenance of the MQA Program and perform emergency/disaster response duties.
