Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a detail-oriented IT Asset Management Specialist to oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and cloud services, for mission-critical defense programs.

You will track assets in ServiceNow, Maximo, and Snow License Manager while ensuring DoD RMF/NIST alignment. You will collaborate with IT, procurement, and cybersecurity teams to optimize resource usage, maintain accurate inventories, and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management or related roles, preferably supporting defense or aerospace programs.
• Proficiency in ITAM platforms and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, IBM Maximo, Snow License Manager).
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software asset tracking, procurement, and license management.
• Familiarity with DoD compliance frameworks, such as RMF, DFARS, and NIST standards.
• Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
