Zusammenfassung

State of Wyoming is seeking a statewide Reading and Literacy Specialist to build capacity for adolescent literacy programs in grades 6–12 across Wyoming. You will work with district leadership to implement evidence-based language and literacy systems and support professional learning structures.

The role emphasizes statewide collaboration, data-driven improvement, and travel across districts while offering telework with occasional in-office attendance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Education required.
• 1-2 years of progressive work experience in Education or Instruction.
• 4-6 years of progressive work experience with Education Program Specialist knowledge (substitution).
• Preference for Wyoming educator license and adolescent literacy expertise.
• Experience supporting grades 6-12 literacy initiatives.

Aufgaben

• Provide statewide technical assistance for adolescent literacy and district systems.
• Support district leadership teams in developing and sustaining literacy structures.
• Assist with monitoring, data submissions, and implementation of literacy systems.
• Collaborate with K-12 Language and Literacy Team.
• Support the Literacy Supervisor and statewide literacy initiatives.
