Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of professional experience in education, with possible graduate substitution for non-specialized experience up to two years.
• Alaska Teacher Certificate may be required and maintained as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review and support district reading improvement plans.
• Guide implementation of evidence-based instructional practices.
• Assist teachers, schools, and districts in delivering high-quality, standards-based reading instruction and curriculum.
• Perform data analysis and promote data-informed decision making.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance to strengthen statewide literacy outcomes.
