Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care in a supportive team setting. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor health status, and contribute to care plans under supervision.

A current Ohio STNA license and strong communication skills are required. You will participate in ongoing training, adhere to safety standards, and help maintain a respectful, patient-centered environment that promotes dignity and comfort for residents

Qualifications

• Must hold a current State Tested Nursing Assistant license for the state of Ohio.
• Ability to provide resident-focused care and maintain professional boundaries.
• Strong reading, writing, speaking and comprehension of English.
• Ability to collaborate with nursing staff and contribute to a team environment.
• Capable of independent decision-making when appropriate within scope.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with daily living activities such as toileting and mobility.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the nursing team.
• Supervise STNAs and facility staff on policies and procedures.
• Participate in orientation, training, and staff development activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment following safety protocols.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts accurately.
• Communicate changes in resident status to Nurse Supervisor, LPN, or RN.
• Respect resident rights and document any treatment decisions.
